Our Story


Established in 2015

Addictive was established in 2015 to deliver a truly European inspired dining experience. Addictive Wine and Tapas Bar and Addictive NYC,  are both a Tapas Bar and Restaurant by restauranteur, sommelier, interior designer, and owner Francisco B. Diaz, along with his partner, Patrick H. Duong, a network engineer by day and a food influencer by night. Together they wanted to create and share a unique dining experience in the heart of midtown Manhattan and in Jackson Heights, Queens.  Addictive brings a rich varied selection of Tapas. We shared a common experience of European’s culture and diverse culinary styles to stimulate ideas for Addictive’s menu.  Addictive’s interior is both European and Spain style with a strong focus on personal hospitality and tasty food. We want to make our customers feel at home and relax.  We will take care the rest. 

We take pride in our food quality at Additive.  All our meats and seafoods are fresh and prepared daily. Imported specialties are from Spain such as guindilla, quescrem, chorizo and octopus.

As a Certified Sommelier, I am fortunate to have the opportunity to taste thousands of wonderful wines from various regions of Spain and Europe and develop an extensive and diverse wine list. Myself and my teams will be more than happy to assist you in making the right selection to pair with your meal.
